PUT YOUR MONEY
WHERE YOUR GUNG HO IS!

Hey, I get it! You’re in the military and wondering about your finances, especially if you’re considering getting out. Or maybe you’ve recently left the military and you’re trying to figure out this strange new civilian world you’ve entered.

Whether you’ve been in the military or not, maybe you’ve never even had to deal with financial issues before. Maybe your Significant Other took care of everything and for some reason they are no longer able to do that now, and it’s your responsibility to figure out this money stuff.

I’ve been there before, and you can get through this!

WELCOME

My name is Andy Proctor, and I was enlisted in the U.S. Navy for 8 years and the Army Guard before that. Yeah, I went to Army basic training and Navy boot camp all in one year. It wasn’t one of the better years I’ve had! In the Navy I made two Western Pacific deployments on a couple of different aircraft carriers, and then I was a job counselor working with Navy recruits.

I got out of the military to go to school, and since then I’ve gotten several degrees and started two businesses. I also started investing when I was in the Navy, and I’ve been doing that for more than 30 years.

I bring lessons learned
from more than 30 years of investing
to my clients

The first business I started was in affordable housing finance and development consulting. But I’ve thought for a very long time that in working in affordable housing, I wasn’t doing enough for people to change their own lives, so they could avoid the need for affordable housing in the first place. That’s why I started financial coaching. I believe that money should never be the thing that holds you back from your goals. It should be the thing that helps you achieve them!

MONEY SHOULD NEVER BE THE THING THAT HOLDS YOU BACK FROM YOUR GOALS.

IT SHOULD HELP YOU ACHIEVE THEM!

My clients include members of the military, those leaving the military and veterans. I also have clients who have never been in the military. Getting out of the service was great: There was a world of opportunity that waited out there, and frankly, I couldn’t wait to grow a beard or get sick without having to drag myself to sick call! But it was scary, too, since on the outside there’s pretty much everything to figure out. Money is part of it, but pretty much your whole world changes. People don’t speak your language, don’t share your story (or may not even understand it) and they even dress funny.
